WikipediaPlus has some options which could mainly just be a source of confusion to novice users, so have not been made accessible through the GUI. The extra options, as of version 0.9.2 were as follows:

To access the Firefox internal setting page, type "<font face="courier">about:config</font>" into the address bar. If you have never done this before, you should read the warning about dragons. Typing "extensions.WikipediaPlus" into the textbox will show you all the Wikipedia+ options. Most of these are best changed through the GUI provided. There are nevertheless a couple you might wish to access like this:

===extensions.wikipediaPlus.check-suggestions===
By default, this is ''true'', meaning Wikipedia+ checks whether pages exist on the corresponding sites before posting a suggestion on the notification bar. If for some reason, you wish to skip these checks, but still wish to see a bar of suggestions from Wikipedia+, set this option to ''false''. This has the same effect as <font face="courier">extensions.wikipediaPlus.home-site</font> above, but it applies to all sites, rather than just the one you set as your home site.

===extensions.wikipediaPlus.home-site===
This is a URL in the same format as that used for [[Website Configuration | configuring sites]]. If you replace the default value (<font face="courier">http://www.example.com/{PageName}</font>) with one of your preferred site URLs, that site is always added to the notification bar, whether of not a corresponding page exists. This may be of use if, for example, you are an editor of that site, seeking to [[WikipediaPlus_enabling_a_Website| Wikipedia+ enable]] create matching pages.
